Tuesday morning we slept late, ate breakfast and then later checked out of the hotel. We settled our bill and took a taxi to the pier to catch our ship. Check-in was painless at the ship. The cabins weren’t ready yet so we went to the deck and a light lunch. After our room was ready, we unpacked and then headed back into Lisboa to do some of the Alfama walk.
The Alfama neighborhood is known as the sailor’s neighborhood because it’s so close to the pier. We walked around about an hour looking at the neighborhood and then headed back to the ship.
Our cabin is a good size and the layout is very nice. We popped open our bottle of champagne to toast our sailing. Later we met several people from the CC forum for drinks in the Horizons Lounge and then went on to dinner. Another long day - headed for bed!
